Cedar Fair Parks Are Ready For Riders!

Arms Down, Head Back and Hold On because Cedar Fair Parks will be opening for the season super soon! Cedar Fair parks throughout the country are gearing up for a season of thrills new and updated for 2019.

We have compiled the list of North American parks and added what's new this season along with Weekend operations and Daily Operations!

Knott's Berry Farm

"HangTime, the first and only dive coaster in California, is now open at Knott's Berry Farm! HangTime towers 150 feet over the Boardwalk area showcasing a beyond vertical drop that is the steepest in California, gravity-defying inversions, and mid-air suspensions."

Kings Dominion (Doswell, VA)

2018's Hit New Coaster Twisted Timbers is back and ready to thrill! "Twisted Timbers gives riders a one-of-a-kind experience. Plummet down a 109-foot-tall barrel roll drop, through two more inversions and soaring over 20 airtime hills at speeds of 54 miles per hour." Weekend Ops starting April 13th Daily Ops May 31st

Carrowinds (Charlotte, NC)

"New for 2019 Copperhead Strike is the first double launch roller coaster in the Carolinas, Copperhead Strike will deliver twice the boost and twice the bite." Weekend Operations now Daily Operations begin May 24th

Worlds Of Fun (Kansas City Missouri) & Dorney Park (Allentown, PA)

"Enjoy crafts and games, delectable food and drink, live music and astounding entertainment. Take part in our Spectacle of Color interactive light parade, complete with dazzling floats, authentic music and mesmerizing street performers. Finally, top off the night at the Carnivale Street Party, a magnificent party filled with international music and merrymaking." Grand Carnivale runs July 13 - Augusy 4th at Worlds Of Fun, with Weekend Operations Beginning April 13th Daily Operations beginning May 10th

Grand Carnivale runs July 20 -August 11th at Dorney Park with weekend operations beginning May 3rd and daily operations beginning May 24th.

California’s Great America (Near San Fran)

2018's Amazing addition Railblazer is back and ready for action! "RailBlazer lifts riders to a height of 106 feet before plunging them face down at a 90-degree angle. Throughout the 1,800 feet of track, riders travel 52 miles per hour, experience an abundance of airtime and steeply banked turns, undertake three inversions and twist through a zero gravity roll." Weekend Operations Now- May 19th Daily Operations Start May 23rd

Cedar Point (Sandusky, OH)

New for 2019 is a newly themed area to the park, but what happens there still seems to be a mystery. "Grab your map and prepare for a minute-by-minute real-life adventure, where you and others are challenged, questioned and pushed to the limits in both brain and brute power. Be immersed in interactive encounters with the island inhabitants and push yourself with physically active challenges that test your resourcefulness and fortitude! It's your job to discover and uncover all that you can; to solve the mystery surrounding the Forbidden Frontier, and return to tell the tale." Daily Operations Beginning May 11th

Valleyfair (Shakopee,MN)

Celebrating the most famous beagle in the world is something everyone should do, so Valleyfair is doing just that! "Weekends beginning June 8 through June 30 start an all-new event uniquely dedicated to celebrating the beloved Peanuts characters. The event will feature special Peanuts inspired décor, new social media worthy comic strip photo ops, new character experiences, live shows, exclusive merchandise and deliciously themed treats to complete this whimsical celebration."

Daily Operations begin May 11th

Michigan’s Adventure (Muskegon, MI)

Ever wanted to camp out in an amusement park? Michigan's Adventure has you covered with their Coaster Campout happening this summer! "At Coaster Campout on June 28, 2019, you can spend the night in the heart of the park under a canopy of your favorite roller coasters. Plus, when you attend Coaster Campout, you’re supporting the Boys & Girls Club of America." Daily Operations begin May 24th

Kings Island (King Mills, OH)

New for 2019 is the Kings Mills Antique Autos, a family car ride that is a perfect addition to the park. "Guests will board replica classic touring cars and take a leisurely drive around a scenic track equipped with a small rail to keep the car on the path. The ride will be comparable to the original Les Taxis antique car ride, combining nostalgia with new enhancements." Weekend Operations start April 20th and Daily Operations begin May 15th.

Canada’s Wonderland (Ontario, Canada)

2019 Brings a new record breaking coaster to our friends to the north."Be exhilarated by Yukon Striker's epic journey high above the park's skyline where you'll hang over a 90-degree drop for three breathtaking seconds, staring 245 feet down into an underwater tunnel. Then suddenly you dive, reaching speeds of 130 km/h and soaring through four dynamic inversions, including a complete 360-degree loop – the only one of its kind for a dive coaster." Daily Operations Begin May 9th.

Cedar Fair and Feld Entertainment will be bringing an all new Monster Jam experience to 3 different Cedar Fair Parks this summer! "Monster Jam Thunder Alley will feature multiple interactive zones where guests can experience Monster Jam’s most popular trucks - Grave Digger®, Max-D™, Megalodon®,Zombie and El Toro Loco® - like never before. The Monster Jam Freestyle Ride Truck Experience puts guests in an authentic Monster Jam truck for a ride over a thrilling freestyle-inspired course. Fans will learn how the Monster Jam trucks come to life in a first-of-its-kind Monster Jam Garage behind-the-scenes interactive experience. In the Monster Jam Build-a-Truck area, guests can build their very own custom mini Monster Jam truck. And the Monster Jam Pit Stop Play Area allows fans to create their own action using authentic Monster Jam die-cast trucks on a miniature track with ramps and obstacles."
